338 Terminator only

I need your favorite accuracy loads. Please provide:

Bullet weight and Mfg.
Powder and charge in grains
Cartridge OAL, yes OAL (not to the ogive)
Primer
Brass Mfg.
Velocity
Barrel length
Freebore of your chamber
Comments on function, brass life, accuracy, temp stability, and bullet performance on game if you have it(please keep this data driven not emotional). Please note if using coatings on your bullets.

I am going to start working on compiling cartridge guides as I get time. Please only provide well vetted data. No I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend...

If you want to include some kill photos with your rifle I may try to include a few in the guide.

Bullet weight and Mfg. 300 Berger OTM HBN coated
Powder and charge in grains VV N-570 107 gr
Cartridge OAL, yes OAL (not to the ogive) N/A Bullets seated to touch lans
Primer CCI 250
Brass Mfg. Lapua
Velocity 3160 fps
Barrel length 31.25"

Bullets seated to touch. Brass life is very good 5 + firings with no issues. Very temp stable and I tested it to -10 F where I saw a slight increase as all components were left to stabilize at this temp. Rifle and ammo. Terminal performance was great on elk, deer antelope and bear. Took 1 bear at 1702 yards with a golf ball sized exit impact velocity was I believe 1650 ish

When you have time can you update with the COAL? Also how far off the lands is your load?

When I received my rifle Shawn had included a dummy round and test target. The test target says it was shot with 300 grain Berger Elite Hunters and easily measured under 1/4". Looked like one clover leaf shaped big ragged hole. When I did my load work up I used the measurement off of his dummy round which measures 3.932" COAL. I wasn't sure if the dummy round was and Elite Hunter or the OTM bullet so all I did was set up to load .010 shorter with my 300 grain Elite Hunters for a COAL of 3.922". I don't have a modified case for this round as it did not come with one; only came with that one dummy round that has max COAL scratched on the side of the case. So if that is right at the lands then I would say I am .010" off the lands if that is true. Honestly, I didn't even need to do anything other than try that first load at 106.0 grain charge weight which shot around .3 MOA and then upped the charge to 107.0 and shot several 1/4" to sometimes 1/5" groups with it at several distances. It shot a 2 3/4" three shot group at 1,000 yards with 107.0 grains of N570 at COAL of 3.922" and around 1" to 1 1/4" at 500 for several groups. At 300 yards 3 shots made just one large shiny spot on my steel target. If I had a modified case for this caliber I could tell you 100% for sure but I don't; just going off of Shawn's dummy round minus .010 for safety it worked perfectly.

Just some info on h1000 97.5 grains. Shot it at 1562yds and elevation seems about 1/2moa. But couldn’t get to target to confirm. Lrkm platform no pressure signs and much lighter recoil than n570. Velocity was on the slow side but could probably push it a fair amount harder. Seems to group .25-.350 at a hundred. Haven’t tuned this load yet. But shot well.
