Sorting by weight doesn’t really do much. Overall length is more important. If you have more or less bearing surface your Bc will be effected. But it would be hard to shoot the difference in a hunting rifle. BR guys can. And honestly your only looking for that 1-2 bullets that are out of line in 100 of them.

I have weighed bullets before but when you're taking them out of the yellow boxes you're probably better off shooting them than weighing them. I've shot to 2000yds with good results out of the yellow boxes

Most of the weight difference will be in the brass. There are more important aspects to accuracy than the case weight.

Some people have luck with HSM ammo. We have never seen it shoot worth a darn even the ammo loaded with Bergers. I took a rifle that was shooting 3" at 100 to shooting under 1 moa simply by changing from HSM ammo to Berger loaded ammo. For what its worth. YMMV

I do not. I tried my hand at sorting bullets by length but found that to be a fruitless exercise With Berger bullets and what I want out of them.

I would not worry about weighing factory ammo. You might see 7-10gr of weight variation from those.
If it was Berger factory ammo, I would bet weight would only vary by 2-3gr or less.

Bullets (non-Berger) usually vary by about .1-1gr.
I have seen factory powder charges vary by as much as .7gr before.
Brass Could vary by 5-7+gr per piece.
