I have not been able to go out and test N560 yet. The overnight low here is 80 now so it is dead time for me. I did score some RL23 this morning. It will be trying that too.

RL23 is a great powder you should be able to find several uses for it.

I made it out today to shoot the N560 pressure test. I shot 57.0 to 64 gr with faint ejector marks showing up on the last couple with the velocity reaching 3196 fps. Not a bad group and the velocity was pretty good. More horizontal than I like but I feel that is me. The trigger I put in this is set too high and I don’t do well with heavy triggers.

Of the 4 powders I have tried so far I think N565 seams to be grouping well during the pressure test. N560 is not too bad either. It does give me more velocity than N565 and I think I can clean up the horizontal with a trigger change. I think I pulled the trigger for another build and put an old TriggerTech Primary in it. I have a new Diamond ready to go in something so I think I will make that change then shoot a ladder with N560. I have not played with N560 before so I think it is about time.

Nice! Are you continuing with these bullets in multiple chamberings? The 7 Max and the 7 PRC?

I will continue with the CEBs in the 7 max but thought I would play with them a bit in the 7 PRC.

I tried the 6.5/125 CE Lazers in my 264 WMI today with a stiff load of H1000 (too stiff in fact). Results (3) @ 200 yards but very stiff bolt. This was with zero work up. I set them .025” off from touching and this was the result @ 3712fps avg for 3 rounds. Unfortunately I had to pull the remaining ones because they were beating my brass up too bad.
