Does it effect accuracy at all by opening them up?
Tagging in, I would like to try these in my 264.Wm. 8-twist .and 6/5-300.
Howdy, I have this from the Berger book, nothing on 6/5-300 yet. I will contact Corey from Berger and get what they have on that cartridge. This is for 140, it will give us starting point. And if anyone has a pet load they would like to share for the 264 wm and 6/5-300 Bee , that would be great. Thanks Well what is the secret to Attaching a picture. It says the file is to large????As would I. I am interested for the exact same reason.

Best way is to download a "photo compressor" app on your phone. The one I use (for Android phone) is called "Photo Compressor". Makes it super easy.Howdy, I have this from the Berger book, nothing on 6/5-300 yet. I will contact Corey from Berger and get what they have on that cartridge. Howdy, tomorrow I am going to start load development with my 6.5-300 and the 144 Hybrid. I will be starting with us-869 . This has been the best powder, with this cartridge for me. You can't pressure this powder out??? But you can get great velocity out of it. Let's see what happens. 👍😁As would I. I am interested for the exact same reason.

Howdy, the 144 Hybrid did very well, easy to tune, but the 6.5-300 has always shot everything very well. As I had mentioned earlier I used Us869, CCI250, trimmed all cases to min. O.a.l. started at 87gr. 3124fps, 87.5 3154, 88. 3194, 88.5 3201, 89. 3256 jumped to 90. 3298, showing ejector marks, 91. 3357fps. I wanted to push it to 3400, but I stopped, had heavy bolt lift and ejector mark was real shiny. So I started my 3 shot per. given grain and 88.6grs was a great node. And mag. Max o.a.l. worked great. 5 shots at 100yds was 1 ragged hole. .4 dis. Just over 3200fps 5 shots 10.2 s.d . Good enough for this peckerwood. Please start at min. load. If your looking for a fast 6.5 and very easy to load for, and if you don't reload, I have tried 2 different factory ammo and as normal Weatherby ammo is great ammo. Hope this helps. 🤓Perfect, please keep us posted.

I agree Mike, but all guns are different.I know velocity doesn’t trump all but I would have expected higher velocity from a 6.5/300 Wby.
My 264WM Improved CAN shoot the 156 EOL at almost 3400 but I found the best node at just over 3300.
