I am having pretty good luck with Hornady 110 Atips out of my 25" Bartlein barrel. For 3-shot groups it's very consistently under .4 MOA and not uncommon to get a couple .16 to .17 MOA groups in an outing where I'm taking my time for zero. I'll be happy to share any data on this load if anyone is interested.

For PRS style shooting, I don't want to pay the money for the Atips. What do you guys think I should tinker with next? Berger 109? Hornady 108? Do you think there would be any noticeable difference between the two? It's looking like the 108 ELDM's are pretty consistently $5 to $10 cheaper per hundred.

I wouldn't be opposed to some Berger 105's, but the hybrids are hard to find and I'm still at a cost similar to the 109's for the other models.

Thanks as always!

I am not sure the price difference in Jacketed bullet is going to make a huge difference in a budget for PRS match shooting. But I would sure be all over going with a Berger. Thats what we shoot in our match rifles for PRS style events. The Berger 105's

I'm currently shooting the Berger 109 LRHT out my 6 Creedmoor. The round count is just over 300 now. Here are the specs:

24" Bartlein marksman barrel - 1:7.5 twist
Brass - Lapua
Primer - Winchester SRP
Charge - 40gr H4350
COAL - 2.795
Velocity - 2,952

I'm confident I could get more speed if I heated the load up more, but I'm so happy with the consistency and performance that I haven't pushed it. I shot my best 5 shot group with this combo. I usually don't attempt 5 shot groups, because they usually end in disappointment for me!

@Broz What specific 105's are you running for matches? Hybrid, VLD Target, etc?

Also, good shootin' @SoTxShooter !

Thank you! I will also add a caveat. I have shot two boxes of factory Hornady 108 ELDM through this rifle when I was breaking the barrel in. They shot extremely well too. So well that I almost scrapped hand loading for this rifle altogether. I think you would be very happy with those as well.

We have one gt that loves 109s and one the does not. You need to figure out what your rifle likes but the 109s are a good place to start. The 105 hybrids are THE 6 mm accuracy bullet.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I've shot several different bullets (if you include factory ammo) through this barrel during break in and it really seems to be extremely forgiving, so hopefully that trend continues.

By the way, where are you guys finding the 105 Hybrids? I can't seem to find any anywhere the past 6 months, but maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

The 109 is my go to projectile in 6mm creed right now. The bc trues out higher for me than advertised in 2 different rifles and in both rifles I land on a .303 g7. However 109s have been basically non existent for quite some time. I can pick up 108 eld just about whenever i want. In prs it doesnt really matter which bullet you shoot i dont think. Just go with what you feel shoots the best and run it Screenshot_20221220-124246_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20221220-124325_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20221220-124328_Gallery.jpg
