how far can this bullet be pushed to kill a deer or a elk as far as range goes, say 750 yards for an example out of a 300 Winchester magnum .I was assumeing maybe 850 to 900 yards.

I've been using the 210's for several years but I have only taken elk and deer a little over 300 yards with them. No forward movement from any of the animals that I've taken with them.

I changed from the 210 to the 215 in my 300 win mags years ago. But before that we took a few elk around 1000 with the 210's. The 210's always did a great job, but the 215 has proven to be just as deadly, has a higher BC and faster from it's shorter bearing surface. My longest shot on an antelope was with the 215's at 1285 yards, right after I shot the first one at 1005 yards. I would have no issues taking deer to 1200 with either the 210 or 215 from a 300 win mag. Assuming conditions were good and my skill set was on point for an impact to the vital zone.

If you want all the velocity you can get, use VV N-570. However more velocity always cost some barrel life. The tried and true powder behind a 210 or 215 Berger is H-1000. In good brass like ADG, you could expect 250 t0 2900 with H-1000 and possibly more with N 570. 3 most common primers will be FED 215 M's, CCI 250's and maybe a FED 210

My standard has always been a Sendero Contour with a .820" muzzle for a steel barrel. The Carbon Wrapped tubes are a bit larger yet lighter if weight is an issue.

I’m also sendero for the steel and there is a proof sendero carbon build that should be done soon. The carbon will be the first one so no experience with them yet.
